Qillo ("Qillo," "we," "us," or "our") is a contacts and relationship organization app designed to help users organize, search, update, and better understand their contacts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you use Qillo, we may collect information associated with your account and app usage, including account identifiers, device or app identifiers, subscription status, app settings and preferences, usage data such as interactions with app features, and diagnostic data such as crash logs, performance data, and error reports.
We use this information to operate the app, manage subscriptions, improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide support.
With your permission, Qillo may access, import, store, display, organize, and update your contacts. This may include information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, companies, job titles, contact notes, contact photos, contact groups, categories, tags, related organization data, and dates or metadata related to when contacts were added or updated.
Qillo uses contact information to provide core app functionality, including contact organization, search, filtering, tagging, bulk editing, contact analytics, and syncing with Apple Contacts.
Qillo may read from and write to Apple Contacts when you grant permission. If you create or edit a contact in Qillo, those changes may sync to Apple Contacts. If you delete a contact in Qillo, that does not necessarily delete the contact from Apple Contacts.
You may create, upload, or edit content in Qillo, including notes, tags, categories, profile photos, contact details, and other information you choose to add to contacts. We use this content to provide the app's features and display your information back to you inside Qillo.
With your permission, Qillo may access your camera or photo library for features such as scanning QR codes or uploading contact profile photos. We only access your camera or photos when needed for features you choose to use.
If you purchase Qillo Pro or another paid feature, payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card information. We may receive subscription status and purchase-related information from Apple and/or RevenueCat to manage access to paid features.
We use information we collect to provide, operate, and maintain Qillo; import, organize, search, filter, update, and sync contacts; enable tags, categories, notes, profile photos, analytics, and other app features; manage subscriptions and paid features; provide customer support; improve app performance, reliability, and user experience; detect, prevent, and fix bugs, crashes, or security issues; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your contacts.
We do not use your contacts for third-party advertising.
We do not share your contact list with advertisers or data brokers.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Qillo, such as cloud hosting and database providers, app infrastructure providers, subscription management providers such as RevenueCat, Apple App Store services, analytics and diagnostics providers, crash reporting providers, and customer support or communication tools if used. These providers are used only to help operate, maintain, improve, or support the app.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Qillo, our users, or others.
Qillo may use third-party services to support app functionality, subscriptions, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, and infrastructure. These services may process limited information as needed to provide their services to us. Their handling of information may be governed by their own privacy policies.
Qillo only accesses Contacts, Photos, or Camera permissions when you grant access through iOS. You can change or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts, Photos, or Camera. If you revoke permissions, some Qillo features may stop working or may be limited.
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Qillo, maintain your account, support app functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you delete your Qillo account or request deletion of your data, we will delete or de-identify your personal information where required, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
You may request deletion of your Qillo data by using the delete data option in the app or by contacting us at support@qillo.app.
Deleting Qillo data may remove information stored in Qillo, but it may not delete contacts stored separately in Apple Contacts unless specifically stated in the app.
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Qillo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If you access Qillo from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, website, or other appropriate means. The updated policy will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
